A lesson designed around finding the small details and using compositional techniques in order to gain a basic understanding of Photography. Written for High School, and includes an in-depth introduction to camera techniques, vocabulary, and processes. Combines the practices of Shooting and Editing into a single lesson.

THE MUNDANE - PHOTO CRITIQUE
A lesson written as the final critique for the Mundane Photography lesson. Designed to be the classes introduction to the practice of critique, the lesson includes a discussion about the language and mindset used when discussing artwork, and how to approach a discussion with other artists.

THE CHASE
A lesson written for a film/videography class that serves as an introduction to montage (in the french definition). The lesson includes a discussion of film history, and examining the philosophy of Lev Kuleshov. Students are expected to use the idea of a “Chase” to explore the process of production with an edit in mind.

LOGO DESIGN
Designed for an intermediate level digital media class, this lesson serves as a total introduction to Adobe Illustrator and the idea of branding. The lesson includes an in-depth exploration of the pen tool, bezier curves, and logo research before students take the time to develop their own brand.

NON - OBJECTIVE WATERCOLOR & INK
A lesson designed to be an exploration into non-objective drawing, and serve as an introduction to abstract art as a whole. Includes discussion about modern artists such as Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Willem De Kooning, and more. Also designed to be an examination of watercolor painting techniques.
